Pastor Moore

Pastor Moore answered Gods call to pastor Harvest Baptist Church in the fall of 1996. He was the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Mannington, WV for nine years and spent seven years on staff as Youth and Music Pastor in Florida.

Just out of High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country proudly for 15 years. He attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E-7) very early and had a successful career ahead of him. He and Bonnie and two daughters were stationed in Orange Park, FL where they visited Berean Baptist Church and were saved. The Lord began to burden his heart and soon he answered the call to preach. He was able to serve on staff at Clay Baptist Temple while attending Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated in 1985.

Pastor Moore has a great love for His Lord, his family, his church, and his country. This is evidenced in the ministries of Harvest Baptist Church.

He has two daughters, Traci and Amy. Traci is a Christian School teacher in South Carolina and has three children. Amy is a pastor's wife serving full time in he ministries in Florida and has three children. His children and grandchildren are one of the greatest blessings in life.

Pastor serves on the board of Baptist Missions to Forgotten Peoples in Jacksonville, FL as well as on their Canadian Board. He has great love for missionaries, and has led our church in the support of 60 missionaries currently at home and abroad. Our missionary conference each year is an exciting time and always gives us a burden to see others saved.

Our church is a soul winning church and we are so thankful for the leadership he has provided in this area. Our buses are a vital part of the ministry, reaching into neighborhoods bringing folks to services and we are so thankful to say that these ministries have been in place for 30 years.

He is a patriot in every sense of the word and his love for his country is shown in the many outreaches we have each year to honor our military and veterans.

We are so thankful for his 15 years of ministy at Harvest Baptist Church. Congratulations, Pastor Moore and thank you for faithfully preaching God's Word and standing true to the fundamentals of the faith!
